I have to admit I am not a cell phone junkie and a text addict, because I have overcome those obstacles. Yes, I used to find it addicting until my monthly cellphone bill doubled everymonth until I reached my maximum over $800 on cellphone bill for the month of September. It was the first month I used it. I could buy my new electric guitar with that money!
Anyways I believe that you shouldn't talk too long on the phone and text it's a waste! Just go on msn!
So my five rules that people absolutely have to follow are:
1. Don't talk to long on the phone because of Ultra Violet Radiation. It may causes series of diseases including brain cancer.
2. Don't talk too loud, for everyone to hear like in public places such as the bus, library, most likely in front of people like my self in general.
3. Do not waste your time texting a 450 word text, I know it is tempting but just go on msn. Cell phones are meant to be talked to people not texted. Cell phone bills are high on texting.
4. Before losing a phone do not keep any "racy or graphic pictures" on your cell because people may blackmail you or it may be leaked on the internet.
5. Last but not least do not talk on the phone and drive, yes it has become a law now. Put other people's safety first guys!

To be honest, I don't really use my cellphone too much either. I only use it to...um...call my folks to pick me up, really. I never really got the point of texting, seeing as you can transmit voices anyway, and I actually don't have too many pictures on my cell.
But UV Radiation? Never heard that one before. I guess I'm pretty safe, then!
Even though my parents never fail to remind me about this when they see me using my cell phone, when I was writing my own blog entry, I completely forgot to mention the heightened risk of getting cancer because of cell phones. That was a good point! Your rule about not keeping racy pictures on your cell phone because of its potential for blackmail use is also a good and important one. Apparently, this is a growing issue for teens. Well, according to the Tyra Banks Show. She said blackmail through innappropriate cell phone pictures has even caused some to commit suicide. =/
My parents told me about the radiation too. My dad actually complained that his hip was hurting because his phone is always there... true? who knows. It does sound kind of crazy but better safe than sorry. But truthfully, I use my phone way too much. I call people, text and just always have it on me in general. Yet I'm still not as bad as some people who can never let go of their phones for the life of them! Your point on not keeping racy or graphic pictures on your cell phone was also something important that I forgot to mention in my blog. Good job :P !
When i had my cell phone my mother also spoke of radiation!!!! I love your five rules, especially the "if you lose you cell phones, never leave any graphic pics", this is so true you never know when someone might swap through your stuff, and use it against your will!!!! I love the way you think out of the box June!!!! This is a characteristic I love about you, God... please don't ever change!!!

LOL wow Juness this blog is very deep. I totally forgot the rick of cancer from cell phones. You know what made me laugh so hard when i was reading your blog though, "Before losing a phone do not keep any "racy or graphic pictures" on your cell because people may blackmail you or it may be leaked on the internet." that made me wonder juness, did you have any kinds of picture like that when you lost your phone? :P I'm kidding.
