Think back to all of your assignments from this year:
the multiple exposure
the circus collage, the pattern, the eccentrick inspiration and lastly your final project the weccentrick video.
When I think back to all of the assignments I did this past year, there was a lot that I had benefited from especially by using professional programs for media.
Like when using photoshop I was able to do my multiple exposure which was really fun to make because of the multiple pictures of me doing a series of different things. It looked like I had quintuplets. Also, the collage that I had to do was really fun. I was able to incorporate my hobbies and how I balance my life as a circus. Life is truly like a circus as it has its many ups and downs, but you get back up again.
The illustrator projects were really fun to work with but a bit time consuming. I had fun animating photographs. But, vectorizing took a while for me to do. But the outcome was great. I chose a shampoo bottle, blue flower and a pink lollipop for my pattern. My favourite part of this strand of the course was incorporating the part into my eccentric inspiration who was Mika Nakashima.
Finishing off with the Final Project of the course was the Windows Movie Maker. It was so fun filming and editing the video, messing around with the special controls and effects. We had alot of fun on this project. But time was very limited, because it was left at the end of the course. But we were able to finish the project on time!
I really hope to come back to this course, it was really fun and I learned a lot from it!
So this isn't a farewell to TGJ 2O1!
If I play my cards right, I might come back ;D

One Word Eccentrick
Those lucky grade 9's got the best word: Eccentrick.
Although their art project didn't really fit to the theme as to our art project last year had the perfect theme for eccentrick, like the freak show!
Yes, word has gone around about how great the artshow was, and yes it was FANTASTICALLY ECCENTRICK. Eccentric is unusual or odd behaviour onn the part of an individual. It was the artshow of the year to be at.EccentricK went on for a full week from May 4th to May 8th.
There were many schools who were invited to see the showcasing of Mary Ward Eccentrick Artists.
I very pleased by the artwork because they stuck to the theme of being "different in their own ways". There was lots of entertainment, I was also performing along with Tim as a musical guitar singing duet. There was really nice dresses, cute plushies, eccentric drawing, multiple exposures, I AM Video's. There was plenty of non-stop entertainment.
My favourite part of the art show was the Freak Show with our last years ECHO Mother Nature Project. It was very wacky and fun. There was one particular art piece that had incorperated some technology, the artpiece with the world spinning and the artpice was able to move by the drill. It was worked on apparently for 6 months and that was perfect artshow material. It was very different compared to the other artpieces. I did the security for that area and there were so many people messing with the drill and it was really sad because the artpiece almost broke so Mr. Notten had to take it away.Art that was worked on for 6 months doesn't deserve to end up broken.
I really enjoyed the artshow and I'm looking forward to Mary Ward's new project next year!

Ah Cellphone Minutes
I have to admit I am not a cell phone junkie and a text addict, because I have overcome those obstacles. Yes, I used to find it addicting until my monthly cellphone bill doubled everymonth until I reached my maximum over $800 on cellphone bill for the month of September. It was the first month I used it. I could buy my new electric guitar with that money!
Anyways I believe that you shouldn't talk too long on the phone and text it's a waste! Just go on msn!
So my five rules that people absolutely have to follow are:
1. Don't talk to long on the phone because of Ultra Violet Radiation. It may causes series of diseases including brain cancer.
2. Don't talk too loud, for everyone to hear like in public places such as the bus, library, most likely in front of people like my self in general.
3. Do not waste your time texting a 450 word text, I know it is tempting but just go on msn. Cell phones are meant to be talked to people not texted. Cell phone bills are high on texting.
4. Before losing a phone do not keep any "racy or graphic pictures" on your cell because people may blackmail you or it may be leaked on the internet.
5. Last but not least do not talk on the phone and drive, yes it has become a law now. Put other people's safety first guys!

"Everything is Amazing and Nobody's Happy"
I believe that i'm in the middle, I disagree and agree. But the way that they potrayed it was not very nice for the fact that yes we do rely on technology alot and yes our economy has changed greatly. But, I do not agree for the fact technology has been "wasted on a generation full of spoiled idiots" referring to everyone in general because Technology has taken the world by storm.
I do believe that technology has been taken advantage of for usages of hacking, stealing etc. It has become a new evolution of doing things from home. Instead of going to the library you could find the information over the internet.
But we have been abusing the internets purposes for unnecessary reasons. Yes it is true that technology has grown upon us, but some people have become so addicted incuding myself that we have become manipulated and hooked on to buying the new technological products.
Yet again, it isn't our fault because we aren't creating this we are consuming the products, without our consumption, the world's income would go higher because of our purchasing. But then if it was all gone we would earn much more money and be more active without the reliance on technology.

Gaming Gone Wild
2008 - 2009 Entry #3
I'm ashamed and not ashamed to point out that i'm a video game addict myself because there are so many components that grab my attention to the point where you are so addicted. I had my first game console when I was four, it was a a Super Nintendo I loved it so much, as you can see i'm a young child thats starting to recognize this world, and these fun loving graphics such as the Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox games are a obviously a marketing scheme but I gotta hand it to them they are very clever at targeting at the children - youth audience because we are all into having fun and games. In my own concience I have brought my self to limit my gaming times. So I think we should enable ourselves to be aware that plaing video games all the time is not our main proirity which will lose our responsibilities of many things. These video games will affect us many ways, socially- how we interact with others or maybe lose interest in our friends, financially - buying the latest games, physically - if we get too addicted I mean we can get diseases but mostl likely heart and brain cancer, and triggers also to addiction and maybe even death, like for example the article where a boy was missing and ran away from home because he was addicted to his XBox 360 and was beginning to get low grades because of his video game addiction and later in a few weeks he was found dead. It's not a good resort to turn o video games all the time. In my perspective, if it weren't for video games I think we'd be more lively like playing more sports and be more smarter the "old-fashioned" way like how our parents were taught and were brought up as responsible kids. But I still questions what in video games triggers us like rock band? I mean, it's just picking a small guitar with four buttons and a pick comparing it to actually "picking up' an instrument and actually playing your own tunes, and also Wii- Sports considering I have a Wii myself, we can play tennis, boxing, bowling, golf and all those stuff when we can just go outside. These games are all portable that even playing tennis is at the palm of our hands that we just stay indoors rather than just going outside, making "actual sweat", these thing have brain washed us and have even made us lazier and there are more rates of Obesity and Heart, Lung and Brain Cancer from too much Ultraviolet radiation that has been given off by the television set and also the console itself and also damaged our eye sight and made us so lazy we sit on our butts all day long staring at a television set and also gaining more weight causing obesity. But I have to admit i'm addicted but I limit myself from these games.
